This twin-sized bed is made entirely from reclaimed materials located from a collapsed barn in Yarmouth. The head and foot boards are incredibly sturdy and the running boards are connected to them with Lee Valley “mortise bedlocks” for a seamless yet, strong system. The headboard is also secured to the wall with an effective ‘cleat’ hanger.
The entire bed has been stained a custom-mixed golden oak & dark walnut and protected with multiple coats of hand-rubbed polyurathane then covered with natural furniture wax. The dimensions are as follows:
- Headboard width = 65 ¼”
- Footboard width = 63 ¼”
- Headboard height = 46”
- Footboard height = 21 ¾”
- Complete length = 86”
- Height to top of boxspring = 16”, clearance height to bottom of running board = 7”
