Thanksgiving harvest table with extensions and matching bench

Here is a version of the Thanksgiving harvest table custom built for a family of 7 with removable extensions and a matching bench. Like the original, it was built with 15+" wide reclaimed fir planks from the old Woodwards building in Vancouver and is over 46" wide! It is slightly under 7 feet long but reaches well over 9 feet when the end ('breadboard') pieces are slid into place.
It has been coloured with a dark walnut stain then protected with both hand rubbed wipe-on polyurathane and natural furniture wax. The matching bench is extremely sturdy, sits 18" high and is all one piece.
