Harvest table with matching bench - unique layout for top

This unique harvest table and matching bench have been made entirely from reclaimed barn materials. Traditionally, the planks run the length of the piece but for this harvest table, the old barn floor planks run width-wise (can you see the 2 boards that are over 14” wide?!). With a barn board trim around the entire table and bench, the tops are just that much more stable as well as have an element of cohesion that “holds” the pieces together. The posts are authentic, hand-hewn beams and you can see the notched out sections on 2 of the legs.
The pieces have been protected with multiple coats of hand-rubbed polyurathane as well as top coated with natural furniture wax.
The dimensions are as follows:

  • Table: 77 ¾” x 46” x 29” high
  • Bench: 77 ¼” x 14” x 18” high

Custom built harvest table - work station

This unique harvest table is one of the first to have the reclaimed barn planks running in a non-traditional fashion (typically, the boards run the length of the table)! The barn board trim adds strength as well as an element of cohesion that “holds” the table together.
The base is made from solid 6x6 reclaimed barn posts and the entire piece has been protected with multiple coats of hand-rubbed polyurathane and top-coated with natural furniture bees wax. The dimensions are as follows:

  • 108” long x 61” wide x 29” high

This client ordered the table to use in his office as a multiple-person work station.

Custom built armoire/closet made from reclaimed materials

This custom built rustic armoire was built completely out of reclaimed materials. The glass door was originally from Bridgewater’s Weagles’ Bakery and the rest of the materials came from local barns and buildings.
This unique piece of furniture would be a wonderful addition near a front or back door as a storage closet or in a bedroom where you can hang clothes and use the lower part for boxes, shoes, etc.
It has been protected with hand-rubbed polyurathane and is one, very solid and heavy piece. The dimensions are as follows:

  • 37 ½” wide x 76 ½” high x 27 ¼” deep

(I know, the photos are not good - sorry)

Complete furniture set made from reclaimed materials

A complete furniture set made entirely from reclaimed barn materials: family harvest table, matching bench, coffee table, 4 end tables. The harvest table top was built from amazing 3” thick hemlock planks (note the bread boards ends!) and coloured a golden oak. The matching bench, coffee table and multiple end tables all have reclaimed planks for tops as well as authentic barn boards for shelves underneath. The bases for these pieces have been coloured a dark walnut and are all one, solid piece.

SOLD!!

Harvest table with authentic reclaimed barn board top

This beautiful harvest table was made using authentic reclaimed barn boards measuring a full inch thick. The base is also made from reclaimed materials and the dimensions are as follows:
  • 84” long x 40” wide and is the standard 29” high
The top has been colored with a golden oak stain then protected with hand-rubbed polyurathane and top-coated with natural furniture wax.

Funky Canada coffee table

This "Canada" coffee table was created after finding an old tin worktop in a barn in Bridgewater, Nova Scotia. The tin top not only shows years of hard work but I've etched and painted a funky Canada flag into it (the Olympics just started...). The solid base is stained ebony and is made entirely from reclaimed barn materials. The dimensions are as follows:

- 34" x 24 1/2" x 18" high

Headboard queen-sized

This custom built queen-sized headboard is made entirely from reclaimed barn posts and boards. The planks have been protected with varathane, natural furniture wax and a golden oak stain. The posts and top shelf are a solid white with multiple coats of primer and paint.

The dimensions are as follows:

  • 74” wide x 48 ½” high
  • from outside of post to the other outside = 67 ½”
  • from inside of post to the other inside = 55”
